The first theatrical stop-motion feature produced in Mexico tells the story of Frankelda, a 19th century writer whose macabre and fantastical stories are simply ahead of their time. Society doesn’t appreciate Frankelda’s boundless imagination until she’s whisked away to a magical world just beyond on our own, inhabited by the monstrous creatures brought to life within the pages of her stories.
